I cannot decide

I have been watching Sally Morgan on television; or Psychic Sally as she is known.  There are a couple of people on the other side from whom I might like a message but such communication is frowned upon in the church. She books up fast and there are not many places I can easily get to.  There is another medium coming to Kettering and I have a mate who will go with me but should I go or not?  I realise it is all hocus pocus - very clever hocus pocus - but on the other hand there could be something in it.

Today I have been working on the patio wall. Whenever I do DIY I feel close to my late father and chat to him, more by way of anticipating him saying what a stupid ass I am when I make a mistake; I like to get in first!  I was using his tools (and I can tell you that a lump hammer gives you a good workout)  and I had to clean up some old bricks then chop a few in half before I was ready to start cementing.

I knew I need a line to stretch across the courses, having found the level.  I could picture Dad's line [which I don't have] and I knew I had uncle Stanley's wind up one.  Blowed if I could find it. Had I disposed of it?

I felt the urge to have another look in the large tool box; there it was.

Now I have a history of using cement and my uncle was the one who advised me to soak the bricks in water first so they do not absorb too much water from the cement.  Today I just felt Dad and my uncle were watching me work and I had a good laugh with them when things did not go according to plan.  I also made sure I washed Dad's tools after work - just in case!
