Lowering standards

Over at an educational forum I visit now and again, a poster as asked for song suggestions; the only wants those which have a good chorus. One reply has suggested "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz, so I went to Youtube and had a listen and was able to see the lyrics too.

Dear God, what are we teaching children these days about quality music, not to mention spelling and melodic content?

But my generation can talk. From the people that gave you Yummy, yummy I've got love in my tummy."

Oh, thanks... 10 seconds listening and I think I lost 3 IQ points. *heh*

Steve: Hmm

Marg: I'd quite forgotten that one.

David: You managed a whole 10 seconds?

Musical masochism, TS.

@Marginalia: "Yummy, yummy, yummy I've got love in my tummy," is as "Nessun dorma" compared to this toxic waste.
